This is a Genuine WW2 staff car which served at Travis Air Base in California where it is believed to have been the Commanding Officers transport. After Pearl Harbour attacks the car was requisitioned by the military.
At end of the war, military cars were sent to the crusher to help kick start the automotive regeneration, fortunately this vehicle was placed into the air base museum avoiding being scrapped.
The car entered the UK in 2004 at which time it was restored. 1 of 400 2 door coupes produced, it is believed to be one of two examples left worldwide.
