1982 DJ-5L U.S Mail Postal Jeep

This is an iconic 1982 AM General Dispatcher (Postal) Jeep. Exclusively made for the US Postal Service in the 1970’s and 80’s these vehicles were a common sight in all towns and cities across the USA until the end of the 1990’s. Films or TV shows requiring a US look to the scene would benefit from one of these jeeps being seen in the background. The vehicle is in great condition and drives smoothly and is fully road legal in the U.K. It is right hand drive as all these jeeps were to allow postal workers to exit the vehicle onto the kerbside as opposed to getting out into traffic.
